Irene of Heaven’s Sunshine has a wonderful Monday challenge that even us amateur photographers can play with, macro photography. And while I only have my phone camera, it does a pretty decent job.
Today’s subject is the bees that love my birdbath. I have yet to see birds use it but bees are there all the time. This is George…as apposed to his brother George…or his other brother George.
Nature is an interesting thing, and if you don’t pay attention you will miss the best parts. But as you are looking, remember the value of looking kindly. Kindness is a much needed and missing element that can easily be added to any situation making it a situation of much value…just because you added a little kindness.
Pretty darn great with a phone. I use my phone sometimes. I donβt carry my macro lens with me everywhere I go. I have my long lens all the time. Keep up the great work! π

π Oh, Anita! You have no clue how much I needed a laugh this morning and and George and his brother George provided that. Thank you. You did a wonderful job with your image. ππ

Thanks. Laughter is a huge medicine. I think we all need some now.

That’s a nice macro shot taken with a phone! I’ve yet to master using my phone for photos. Our flowering trees haven’t even fully opened up their leaves yet, so no bees around. I do love to watch them do their thing and spread their kind of kindness around in nature. I hope you’re well and safe, Anita!

I thought spring was here but alas I was fooled yet again, 50s all week. So very done.

Ah, yes, spring tends to be a teasing time of year! We’ve done the same. This week we’ve had a few sunny days so the buds are rapidly forming and we’re starting to see more green than brown and some colors on the flowering trees. We’ll get to summer soon, I hope!
