Not Just a Bag

I look and I see it

Is it something I will git

Mommy just had it

But I can’t smell it

What could be in a bag so small

Maybe a new toy, maybe a ball

It’s too high for me, oh the gall

If I tried to jump up, I would fall

But the mystery about it is still so sweet

Maybe it’s a goody, a yummy sweet treat

If legs were taller, it’d be mine in a heartbeat

But I am afraid my shorts legs make for defeat
